Welcome to the Evansville Fire Department's Web site!  It is my pleasure to represent all of the outstanding men and women who proudly serve the City of Evansville in the Evansville Fire Department.  We constantly strive to maintain our city services to ensure a high quality of life by providing a safe community for all of our citizens.

Our Department, like our Profession, is rapidly changing.  However, what has not changed is the dedication and professionalism of our Firefighters.  Besides their day to day training they are continuing to respond rapidly to a variety of emergencies whether it be fire, medical, water, or hazardous materials.  They have been active with the Hoosier Burn Camp, MDA, "Habitat for Humanity", the United Way, and the Tri-State Food Bank.  I'm very proud of their efforts, and I'm very proud  to welcome all of you to our city.
